Samuel Teague is a Teaching Assistant in Music at New College. He has an active role in the musical life of the University and city as Vicar Choral and Music Administrator at the University Church of St Mary the Virgin. Samuel studied at The Queen's College for his master's and doctorate ––focusing on the music of Civil War, Commonwealth, and Restoration England –– where he also sang as a lay clerk in the Choir of The Queen's College and later worked as it's administrator. Currently, he is the Education Programmes Manager for the Royal School of Church Music, where he oversees the delivery of the worldwide education portfolio. Additionally, Samuel is the Chair of the National Early Music Association, having formerly served as the editor of their journal, Early Music Performance & Research.
