Biography

Alexander Pott is the Assistant Organist and Tutor to the Choristers at Magdalen College, Oxford, where he plays for services, broadcasts and tours with the choir of Magdalen College, and teaches choristers, undergraduates and organ pupils. Before this he held organ scholarships at Westminster Cathedral and Christ Church, Oxford. As well as playing, conducting and teaching in Oxford, he has just finished learning all of J S Bach’s organ works as part of the W T Best Scholarship from the Worshipful Company of Musicians. In 2018 he was also the recipient of the Flentrop Scholarship from the Eric Thompson Trust. His next project is a Masters in musicology at the University of Oxford, focusing on the works of Frederick Delius.
