Research Interests

My debut science-fiction novel, and soon-to-be Netflix feature, The Upper World, follows two teenagers based in Peckham, London. The story explores themes of love, violence and time travel physics as the pair are thrown into a mind-bending and life-threatening race against the clock. My prior academic research was in theoretical quantum information processing. Current areas of interest include foundations of theoretical physics, theory of language, science education, and story structure.
