Classics and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies is a four-year degree, which runs parallel with Classics Mods and then takes up an Asian or Middle Eastern language in the second part of the degree. New College has recently started offering this course, and is keen to develop a reputation as a strong centre for studying it. Teaching is readily coordinated between the College and the Faculty. Please note that we only offer Classics and Asian and Middle Eastern Studies (i.e. the version of the course involving Classics Mods), not Asian and Middle Eastern Studies and Classics (involving Prelims in the Asian or Middle Eastern language).

For further details on Classics at New College, please see the Classics subject entry.
