NCS's Media Network unites over Apple TV's immersive series Adventure

The New College Society's Media Network met for a screening of Apple TV's ground-breaking immersive live action series, Adventure. 

The network aims to gather alumni who are either working, have worked, or having ambitions within the creative arts. It was kindly hosted at the offices of Made by Many by Old Member Tim Malbon (1989, Mod. History) and was orchestrated by Charlotte Mikkelborg (1995, PPE) who is the director of the series Adventure. 

At the event, guests were able to experience an episode of Adventure using the Apple Vision Pro headsets provided and immerse themselves into a thrilling 8K journey alongside an athlete completing an attempt to break the world record for distance swam under ice without the aid of breathing apparatus.

Alumni of all aged enjoyed the opportunity to be amongst the first to experience a made for Apple Vision Pro content, and the possible opportunities and drawbacks of the immersive media were debated at length during the fire-side chat.
