Women's Annual Lecture
We are delighted to confirm that 2026 Annual Women's Lecture will be given by New College Old Member and international bestselling author Kate Mosse, OBE FRSL (1981, BA English). The event will take place at 5.15pm in The New Space, Mansfield Rd, Oxford OX1 3TZ at New College on Thursday 6 March 2026.
More detail to follow on the topic that Kate will talk on in due course.
The event is primarily for New College students and staff due to the timing of the event, but if New College Old Members find that they are able to make it, they would be very welcome to book a place.

Due to it being term time, there will be no parking available so we would advise arriving on foot. Should you have mobility problems, please let us know, so that we can see what might be possible.
The Lectures
Since its inception the event has seen lectures given by a number of distinguished New College Old Members including: Anna Bateson (1990, PPE), Chief Executive of Guardian Media Group, Dame Eleanor-Jane Milner-Gulland DBE (1985, Biological Sciences), Tasso Leventis Professor of Biodiversity at the University of Oxford, and Rebecca Lawrence (1989, PPE), Former Chief Executive of the Crown Prosecution Service and since January 2025, Chief Executive of the British Library. Not New College but Baroness Hale of Richmond, President of the Supreme Court gave the inaugural talk back in 2020.
