New College Library holds a trio of beautiful Dutch Golden Age atlases: a fine copy of one of the first world atlases ever produced, the Theatrum Orbis Terrarum from 1584, a tenth edition of Gerhard Mercator’s famous atlas from 1630, and Andreas Cellarius’s Harmonia Macrocosmica of 1660.
