A win for students at New College, Wadham and Hertford at the Vice-Chancellor’s Colloquium

New College's first year Modern Languages undergraduate, Charlotte Lawton, was one of the winners of the student project competition at the inaugural Vice-Chancellor’s Colloquium, alongside her team from Wadham College and Hertford College.

A special event was held at the Maths Institute on Earth Day (22 April) to celebrate the end of the Colloquium. Emphasising the importance of cross-curricular skills, the programme aimed to upskill Oxford’s undergraduate students outside of their core subjects.

Charlotte's team's proposal, named the "Mini Allotment Initiative", aimed to create communal mini allotments at colleges using Oxford’s green spaces.

We congratulate Charlotte and her team on their award.
