Old Member generously gifts treasured volumes to New College Library

The holy month of Ramadan was an appropriate time for a very generous gift to arrive in New College. We are extremely grateful to Old Member Farouk Toukan (Mx) for donating a copy of The Encyclopaedia of Islam which the College did not previously possess. 

The volumes arrived safely from Abu Dhabi, just before the current emergency in the Gulf and the Warden unwrapped them together with the Librarian in the Arab corner of the College Library.
