New College Notes—issue 24 now published

The 24th issue of New College, Oxford’s scholarly open-access e-journal New College Notes (ISSN 2517–6935) is now published.

This latest issue includes articles on: getting sweaty with Sappho, reading Chaucer, F. O. Matthiessen at New College, and a history of New College balls.

Contributors include: P. J. Finglass, Antje G. Frotscher, Carolin Gluchowski, and Nicholas Smart.

New College Notes is dedicated to research articles and learned notes on the history and life of New College, and especially the contents and history of the rich collections of New College Library & Archives, Oxford.  Potential contributors are invited to contact the Librarian.
