Gaude 1996-98

Saturday saw almost 200 Old Members return to New College to celebrate their Gaude, with alumni travelling from as far away as California and Singapore. Everyone who matriculated between 1996-98 was invited, and it was certainly a night to remember. After afternoon tea in the Cloisters, Old Members enjoyed a beautiful Evensong in Chapel, followed by a twilight Champagne reception in Front Quad. Walking on the grass felt a particular privilege!

A delicious seasonal dinner in Hall followed, with beautiful singing from the New College Choir and speeches including one kindly given by Alexander Learmonth KC (1996). The evening continued in the bar afterwards – an opportunity to relive student days. It was a pleasure to welcome back all the Old Members who kindly made the trip.
