Formerly a part of New College

An Old Member recently reminded us of our connection to the magnificent Prior's Hall Barn at Widdington, in Essex. Now under the care of English Heritage, it belonged to the College until 1922, having come into our estate as part of the Founder's original endowment. It is still a magnificent structure, and reflects the College's considerable investment in its land holdings in the early 15th Century.
