New College Society Health Sector Network Event - Wednesday 16 October 2024

The New College Society are pleased to invite New College Old Members, and a guest, to the launch of the newly expanded 'Health Sector Network', building on the solid foundation of our Life Sciences Network. This enhanced group is designed to bring together New College alumni connected to the healthcare, medical and life sciences fields, providing a valuable platform for professional networking, sharing perspectives on developments across a rapidly changing sector as well as generally supporting both alumni and current students who are interested.

As we broaden our focus, the Health Sector Network aims to cultivate stronger connections among alumni at all stages of their careers. Whether you are a seasoned clinical professional, a senior executive, a recent graduate, or somewhere in between, this network offers a unique opportunity to share knowledge, explore career opportunities and contribute to the ongoing success of fellow alumni and the wider community.

The inaugural event will be held on Wednesday, 16 October 2024 at The Athenaeum Club, 107 Pall Mall, London, SW1Y 5ER. We are honoured to have Dr Paul Schreier, CEO at Simplyhealth and former Interim CEO of The Wellcome Trust, as our keynote speaker.

Dr Schreier will share some thoughts gleaned from a life in, out of, and around the life sciences, drawing from his extensive experience in global health initiatives and leadership within the sector.
