To celebrate Women in Science Day (11th February), our Biology Tutor Ashleigh Griffin collaborated with artist Miranda Cresswell to make six video profiles of women at various stages of their scientific careers.

The following description is taken from their website, www.themakingofascientist.com

"They began a collaboration which has resulted in the making of six short films about Woman Scientists of all ages. Their films investigate how curiosity about everyday subjects can lead to scientific careers. The subjects are at different stages of life as scientists but share the same passion and ingenuity. Through the subjects, the films show that exclusion of people from science because of gender, race or class is ultimately a suppression of human nature at great cost to us all."
