40th Anniversary of the Matriculation of Women Students to New College

The Warden and Fellows of New College invite you, and a guest, to the College Commemoration Service, preceded by afternoon tea, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the matriculation of women students to New College on Sunday 27 October 2019.

The event marks the first of a series of celebrations taking place throughout the college from the Autumn.

Dress code: smart

4.00pm-5.30pm: Afternoon Tea in the Undercroft and bar area

There will be a charge of £10.00 per person (to include afternoon tea, soft drinks, assorted finger sandwiches and cakes) which you can pay via the secure Oxford University Online Store by visiting www.oxforduniversitystores.co.uk and searching for "40th Anniversary".

5.45pm-6.45pm: The College Commemoration Service is dedicated to marking this anniversary, with appropriate music, including a new Commission for the Choir. The Sermon will be preached by the Very Rev'd Professor Jane Shaw, formerly Dean of Divinity, now Principal of Harris Manchester College.
