“We are pleased to adapt and repurpose our service offering to best support the current and changing learning, teaching, and research needs of the College and its members during COVID-19 restrictions.”

  • Need a book (or other item) during COVID-19 restrictions?  First, check the catalogue — SOLO.

  • If the book you need is held in New College Library, with a copy available for loan, request a postal loan to your address.

  • If the book you need isn’t already held, or there is currently no copy available for loan, make a book purchase request to your address.

Request we provide a postal loan to you from our collections via our new postal loans service.

Request we purchase a book and deliver it to you via our new book purchase request service.

Remember: always please first check the catalogue — SOLO.

New College Library is adapting its services to ensure we best support the learning, teaching, and research needs of the College and its members during current COVID-19 restrictions.

We are now providing postal loans in conjunction with “home-delivery” book purchase requests.

We aim with these two new services to provide you with access to a large range of physical library resources, to meet the current and changing academic resources needs of New College and its members.
