Head Chef visits partner primary school

Earlier this week, our Head Chef, Sam Cruickshank, cooked for a slightly different audience. 

Sam visited our local partner primary school - Wood Farm Primary School - for a session with Year 4 students. He gave a presentation about his job and how he goes about building a menu - taking into account tastes, textures, food groups, colours, and seasonal produce. 

Students then had the opportunity to see Sam in action as he prepared three different salads for them, offering them some additional tips and important skills. They will design and cook their own menus later this term.
