Curator:

Will Shire—Deputy Librarian, New College, Oxford

For this first online exhibition produced by New College Library, Will liaised with the website designers Olamalu regarding the creation of the site. He also edited and expanded on the text used in the physical exhibition of the same name, held in Michaelmas Term 2022—adapting it to an online context. Finally, he edited and produced the video and image content used throughout the exhibition. Since starting at New College in August 2021, Will has worked to share New College’s outstanding collections with a wider audience, so has very much enjoyed creating this online exhibition.

Thanks:

This online exhibition would not have been possible without the support of Olamalu, who designed the website, and Colin Dunn from Scriptura, who produced many of the digital images.

The exhibition adapts text written by:

Jemima Bennett, former Graduate Trainee, New College, Oxford
Dr Antje Frotscher, former Special Collections Curatorial Assistant, New College, Oxford
Caitlín Kane, Special Collections Curatorial Assistant, New College, Oxford
Dr Christopher Skelton-Foord, Librarian, New College, Oxford
