Essay Society goes virtual

The first ever virtual Essay Society meeting took place last night, chaired by Oliver Smith. Rather than the Tower Room of the Lodgings, Zoom hosted  a large audience to hear Dr Katherine Lebow talk about Utopia. Her subject was the Polish model city of the 1950’s, Nowa Huta.

Student essays were contributed by Max Mutkin and George Williams. Congratulations to Miriam Feldman who will take over as Chair for the next year.
