Visiting New College

Prospective applicants are always welcome to look around when the College is open. Simply let our Porters know you are a prospective applicant.

Open Days 

Open Days offer the perfect opportunity to look around the College and meet our tutors, students and staff. Visitors can also speak to the Admissions Team and learn more about Oxford undergraduate admissions procedures. 

Drop-in Visitors are welcome throughout the day but please note that advance booking is essential to guarantee entry to specific talks.

The next Open Days will be the same dates as the main University Open Days on:

School Groups

Schools are welcome to book a maximum of 6 student and 2 teacher places per Open Day.

Accommodation for June Open Days 

Accommodation in New College is limited and only available if pre-booked by prospective applicants or teachers travelling from over 100 miles away from Oxford. This accomodation is for the night before the booked Open Day. 

If you are eligible to apply for accommodation and wish to do so, please email Sarah Finnigan at studservs@new.ox.ac.uk in addition to completing the booking form.  

We regret that parents and guardians cannot be accommodated in college but for information on where to stay in Oxford, please see Visit Oxford, the official website for visitor information on Oxford and the surrounding area.
