Information for applicants for undergraduate courses for entry in 2013 (or deferred entry in 2014)

Update 10/01/13: Information has now been sent to all candidates regarding offer decisions for 2013. Feedback must be requested by email on admissions@new.ox.ac.uk, and it may take us few weeks to reply.

Update 14/12/12: All interviews for admissions 2013 are now finished. Decisions regarding places will not be relseased until the 10 January 2013. In the meantime we would like to wish you Happy Holidays!

Update 03/12/12: We have now sent out emails to all candidates who are applying for subjects with interviews scheduled for the week of the 10th December to confirm whether they have been invited for intervew or not.

Update 26/11/12: We have now sent out emails to all candidates who are applying for subjects with interviews scheduled for the week of the 02 December to confirm whether they have been invited for interview or not.

Update 20/11/12: We will be sending out emails to all candidates who are applying for subjects with interviews scheduled for the week of the 02 December this coming Friday 23rd. Some subjects MIGHT NOT receive the emails until Monday (26th) morning, so please keep checking this page for more information, as we will let you know which subjects may be included on that list.

Please note that the closing date to submit a UCAS application was 15 October 2012. Admissions are now closed for 2013 entry (or deferred entry in 2014).

An acknowledgement email was sent to all candidates on Tuesday 23rd October to confirm the receipt of UCAS forms by New College.

Update (13/11/12): All candidates who have submitted written work will have received an acknowledgement email on Tuesday 13th November.

Update (6/11/12): All candidates who have submitted written work will receive an acknowledgement email by Tuesday 13th November. Those whose work does not arrive by Monday 12th will also receive an email with that information.

Most queries regarding written work, interviews or tests are answered on the course specific pages, or on the "Availability for Interview" page. Before sending your query to the Admissions Office, please make sure that you read the information thoroughly, as you will likely find the answers you are looking for.

This page will be updated regularly during the next few months, so do remember to keep checking back.

Interviews: the timetable for interviews at all colleges is available on the Undergraduate Admissions website: Interviews Timetable 2012

Please note that it is not possible to arrange for interviews outside these dates, so it is very important that you do not make alternative arrangements such as holidays, acting in school plays, field trips or similar during the maximum specified times for your subject.

Keeping in touch: it is essential that if your postal or email addresses change at any point you let us know directly (by email to admissions@new.ox.ac.uk), as well as updating the UCAS site.
