Battels (Rent and Meals)

For all undergraduate accommodation (except New College Lane, Long Wall, Bodicote House (long let option) and Sacher Building):
£5,449.91 per year payable in 3 instalments on or in advance of the Payment Dates.
This sum includes the price of services and kitchen charge. Daily rate is £30.11, weekly £210.77. There is a nominal additional charge for insurance. The most common length of contract is 181 days.

• Michaelmas term rent starts 2pm on the Monday of 0th Week, ending at 10am on the Saturday of 8th Week.
• Hilary & Trinity term rent termly starts 2pm on the Tuesday of 0th Week, ending at 10am on the Saturday of 8th Week.

Students can expect to pay the above rate in their first year. Charges in subsequent years will depend on room choice in the ballot. 

New College Lane, Bodicote House  and Long Wall

New College Lane and Long Wall  (39 weeks non-catered only), *Bodicote House (39 week catered option) from 01st October to 30th June.
£7,390.24 per year payable in 3 instalments on or in advance of the Payment Dates.

*A further £175.20 termly kitchen charge will be added if Bodicote House catered long let option is opted for.

This includes services.

• Average daily rate £27.11
• weekly £190.19

There is a nominal additional charge for insurance. 

Sacher Building & Gradel Quad

For undergraduates in Sacher Building & Gradel Quad  01st October to 30th June:
£7,390.24 per year payable in 3 instalments on or in advance of the Payment Dates.

Sum includes the price of the services. 

• Daily rate is £27.17
• weekly £190.19

There is a nominal additional charge for insurance. 

Weston Building

Graduate accommodation 1 October to 30 June (39-weeks):
£7,417.41 per year payable in 3 instalments on or in advance of the Payment Dates. The most common length of contract is 273 days.

Graduate accommodation 1 October to 31 August (48-weeks):
£9,101.95 per year payable in 3 instalments on or in advance of the Payment Dates. The most common length of contract is 335 days.

• Include the price of utilities and network.
• Daily rate is £27.17
• weekly £190.19

There is a small additional charge for insurance.

Payment of Battels are due for payment by mid-day Friday of 1st Week 

1. A termly kitchen charge of £175.20 is applied to all catered licences and is non-refundable. The £175.20 does not cover the cost of food, but the provision of catering services.
2. Students & associated members pay as they go for all meals, meaning they need money on their Bod Card.
3. All catered licences are automatically booked on to Early Hall, no charge is applied until they go through the self service Buttery.
4. Catered licences must book off Early Hall if they wish to book onto Formal Hall, Guest Nights etc.
