Giving up the Ghost: The Haunting of Modern Culture

New College Symposium, 1314 April 2012

The Symposium draws together distinguished speakers from various different disciplines (Cultural Studies, English, French, German, Latin American Studies, Russian) who will examine ideas around what might be called a ‘spectral turn’ in modern culture in an interdisciplinary context. We warmly invite all interested scholars, graduate students and everyone interested in the subject to join us for a day of interdisciplinary discussion around papers from some of the foremost figures in their fields.

Convened by Karen Leeder and Kirstin Gwyer.
