After studying at the Universities of Munich and University of Florence, Volker Halbach taught at Constance University before joining New College in 2004.
Teaching
He teaches various undergraduate philosophy papers, and supervises graduate students (mainly in logic).
Research Interests
Volker Halbach's main research interests are in logic. In particur, he is focusing on formal theories of truth. He is also working in philosophy of language, epistemology, and philosophy of mathematics.
