Junior Common Room

Welcome to the New College JCR, the Junior Common Room. The JCR refers to

• the physical junior common room, which is equipped with television, pool table, computers, etc.
• and the undergraduate student body itself.

The JCR is run by a committee of elected officers, responsible for different areas of college life (sport, music, entertainment etc), who have put together a guide giving you information and advice about New College. Freshers will get a copy of this through the post but you’ll also be able to find out lots of other information on the JCR website, which is well worth a visit.
